Education is an important part of our life. Many young people tend to get education abroad nowadays and this rush is gaining popularity at an amazing rate. I also decided to go to study in another country for academic mobility.
I studied at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz is a dynamically developing school of higher education, today the largest in the city and the second largest in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, both as for number of professors, number of majors and educational forms offered and the number of students and graduates. Over 700 academic staff members share their knowledge, including about 150 professors. Today a rich educational range of studies covers 30 majors at three levels: bachelor and bachelor in engineering, master and doctoral studies. The university also provides over 30 postgraduate courses, developing qualifications and conferring new rights. Step by step new majors are approved by the Polish Accreditation Committee.
We, students from Kazakhstan, lived in the dorm. The dorm is located in the center, near the university. The dorm is well equipped, and has a good stable access to the internet. The cleaner washes the floor every day.
We are given student id-cards. We paid half of the amount in the bus, in the cinema with id-cards. I studied in different groups with different students. In addition to basic training for student, who comes from other countries, have Polish language courses. After graduating the course, we are given by the certificate.
In general, there is a free style at the university. You cannot stand up, when the teacher enters; you can drink coffee during lectures or have a snack. On breaks the students sit on the floor.
For Erasmus students were organized different events. We have from dinners and parties for Christmas and Halloween visits to the tour to the nearest cities. Also, we had a very nice buddy, who showed the country.
During a semester studying abroad Firstly, I have improved my foreign language skills, I met many people from different countries. Studying abroad guarantees respect of others, stable career, bright future, lifelong friends from all over the world, and lots of useful skills.
