29.01.Абай 175Journey to the world of Abay

    October 29 at wksu. Makhambet Utemisov hosted the game "ABAI quest", dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great thinker Abai Kunanbayev. It was attended by 6 students from 6 faculties of the University: "Zhas Kyran", "Zhibek", "Comet", "Bilimger", "Samgau", "Bolashak".At the event, organized by the faculty of Philology, participants told about the group's name and motto. In the next round, participants performed Abay's songs. In the third part, they expressively read the poet's poems, and in the fourth part they answered questions concerning the life and work of the educator. During the meeting, the main directions of the address Of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N. A. Nazarbayev "Kazakhstan's way-2050: common goal, common interests, common future"were discussed.According to the decision of the jury, which evaluated the participants 'work and determined the winners, the team of the faculty of culture and art "Zhibek" took 1st place, and the team of the faculty of Philology "Samgau"took 2nd place. And the team of the faculty of natural geography "Comet" completed the top three. The winners of the game were awarded special diplomas and prizes. At the end of the event, the participants visited the monument of Abay and took a picture.
